This Sumo Citrus Margarita is the perfect balance of sweet and tangy, with a touch of mint to elevate your cocktail game. This margarita is easy to make and even easier to enjoy; shake up a batch for your next happy hour or weekend gathering, and impress your guests with this delicious and unique take on a classic cocktail.
1 ½ ounce blanco (silver) tequila
1 ½ ounce freshly squeezed Sumo Citrus juice
1 ounce orange liqueur (such as Cointreau)
½ – 1 ounce agave syrup, sweetened to preference
¾ ounce lime juice
Fresh mint, for garnish- optional
- Place all ingredients into a cocktail shaker or mason jar. Then add a handful of ice. Close the shaker and shake vigorously for 10 seconds. Strain over a glass- you can enjoy the margarita straight up or top with more ice. Garnish the margarita with fresh mint, if desired. Enjoy!
