Sumo Citrus and Mango Chutney

Your charcuterie board and crusty bread are not complete without this chutney, which blends the sweetness of Sumo Citrus and mango, with the spiciness of red chili pepper and ginger for the perfect bite.

Ingredients

  • 2 Sumo Citrus, peeled and finely chopped
  • 2 Mangos, firm but ripe, peeled
  • 1 cup Granulated Cane Sugar
  • 2 tbsp. Water
  • ¼ cup Grated Ginger
  • 1 Red Chili Peppers, finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp. Red Chili Flakes
  • 2 tsp. Ground Cinnamon
  • ½ tsp. EACH: Ground Cloves, Ground Turmeric, Salt, & Ground Cardamom
  • 2 tbsp. White Vinegar

Instructions

Grate the mangoes with a cheese grater.

Add to a large saucepan with the remaining ingredients over medium high heat.

Bring to a boil, then simmer 20-25 minutes, until thickened.

Cool to room temperature before storing in a glass jar in the fridge up to 6-7 days.

Serve on toast or pair with your favorite goodies on a charcuterie platter.
