Our Super Fans don’t just show up, they show off. We’re featuring some of the fan art that made us stop scrolling.
Our community raises the bar every season. They paint, they sketch, they bake and turn citrus peels into works of art. The creativity Sumo Citrus inspires is something we never take for granted; this year was no exception.
With this feature, we are sharing a collection of our favorite creations. It’s dedicated to the artists mentioned here, and to everyone who posted, styled or created something inspired by Sumo Citrus.

Let’s kick it off with Stephanie at @lostsocks.knits. She was so carried away by the sweetness of her favorite fruit that she handknitted a pair of cozy Sumo Citrus socks. The color, the detail, the dedication to repping her favorite fruit from head to heel, it’s simply incredible.

This is what happens when Sumo Citrus meets a gifted artist like @art.brujaja, whose pencil drawing brought a mandarin moment full circle. Nothing about this fruit is ordinary, and neither are those who love, celebrate, and draw it.

Next up, there is no better way to show appreciation for your teacher than fresh Sumo Citrus accompanied by a watercolor masterpiece. @dear_valentines work is emotional, expressive, and evokes the explosive flavor underneath the bumpy skin.

Ok now for something a little…conceptual? With the perfect pose and a painterly stillness, this little skinny pig could have inspired a Renaissance master. Thanks to @herecomestheroyals for sharing Valentina with us.

Lastly, we celebrate the artistry of @apropheticdream, who drew this as the season came to a close. It’s a good reminder that making artwork is a way to capture the sweetness of a Sumo Citrus, even when it’s not available in fruit form. The attention to detail is remarkable. From that curly peel to the lines in each slice of Sumo Citrus, it looks good enough to eat.
From socks to skinny pigs, it’s always an incredible range of impressive fandom from this community. Check our social channels for many more features.
Most importantly, a big thank you to our incredible community of innovators, maestros, and craftspeople for sharing their work with us. We are always blown away by your creativity. To those who have something brewing, it’s your turn! Don’t forget to tag @sumocitrus.
