Celebrating the Sweetest Super Fans

Each season, we ask: who are the biggest Super Fans among you? We are constantly wowed by the love, loyalty, and creativity that you share with us. We love to see the way the fruit inspires you to create, turning life into art in the most fun and expected ways.

This year was no different. Though the season may be short, your adoration and our appreciation are enduring. Read on to learn more about this year’s Super Fan winners, Howard, Maggie, and Julia: 

An Incomparable Instant Obsession

For our first Super Fan winner of the 2025 season, Howard from Chicago, it was love at first bite! Howard first tried Sumo Citrus after spotting the signature bumpy skin and Top Knot^® across the produce aisle. 

“I instantly became obsessed with how easy they were to peel and the incomparable sweetness,” Howard said. He hasn’t let a day pass him by without a Sumo Citrus during the sweetest season ever since.

Howard enjoys his Sumo Citrus as a healthy snack to fuel a walk on the beach or a hike. He even collects the stickers and has hundreds of enormously delicious memories! 

And, like a true Sumo Citrus Super Fan, he doesn’t gatekeep the goodness. “I enjoy sharing with my kids, my grandkids, and just about anyone,” Howard said. It’s “sunshine in an orange wrapper!” he added.

A Creative Container For The Ultimate Obsession

Mid-season, we celebrated the incredible creativity of Super Fan Maggie from Minnesota, who shared her obsession in the form of the ultimate crocheted Sumo Citrus bag.

Giving our Enormous Tote a run for its money, the details on Maggie’s Sumo Citrus handiwork are legendary.

How does Maggie enjoy her Sumo Citrus? “I love bringing them to work to refresh myself during the day!” Maggie said. Being the perfect pick-me-up is just one of Sumo Citrus’ super powers.

Crochet was all the rage this season—remember Brochet’s hand-crafted, life-style and stuffie-sized Sumo Citrus? 

We can imagine filling Maggie’s bag with Brochet’s creations for the cutest crochet collection! In fact, the very thought leaves us hungry for more… crochet and the ultimate citrus experience.

Art That Nails The Obsession

Our final Super Fan of the season, Julia from New York, first tried Sumo Citrus at the recommendation of a friend who advised her that Sumo Citrus is “the most delicious fruit in the world!”

Like Howard, Julia never looked back. In fact, she took the inspiration and ran with it, integrating a bit of legendary #SumoCitrusStyle into her enviable nail art.

“As a nail artist, I avoid anything that could break my nails,” Julia said. Because of “how easy it is to peel, Sumo Citrus is the perfect citrus for me.”
